Garret has always been driven by curiosity. It was in the 18th grade that he first used a speed square. A late bloomer in the building world – he was quickly fascinated by the simplicity and utility of the geometrical wand. This led him to work as a carpenter for a couple of years and eventually to a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon. In 2022 Garret packed his bags and moved to Missoula for work and play. Originally from Wisconsin, he loves the outdoors: Nordic skiing, fishing, hunting, and being in water. Garret is passionate about designing from an holistic perspective both for the well-being of clients and for the environment. Garret and his designs are inspired by travel, art, history and the natural world. In his free time, Garret likes woodworking, tinkering with antiques, and learning new instruments all while spending time with his loved ones.
