THAMES STREET MID CENTURY

This project started with a beautiful and severely dated mid-century house. Our clients wanted to update the house while maintaining as much of its original character as possible. The existing great room, always cold and with dark low ceilings, needed to be made more comfortable and better capture the natural light from its southern exposure. Our clients also wanted some sort of functional entry, absent in the original house. The whole house needed updated mechanical systems, windows, and finishes. Features: Kahrs flooring, Sierra Pacific Windows, Epic steel and mahogany wood siding, RBM timbers and trim, Heat and Glo fire place, Brick, Mid-Century Modern.
