Missoula’s zoning and development restrictions led us to a unique solution to realize the potential of this property. Rather than a conventional multi-family apartment style building we elected to develop six detached cottages under individual ownership to maximize the density of this infill parcel in Missoula’s North Side neighborhood. Available for purchase in Fall 2025, the 600 sf (net) homes each feature one bedroom and one bathroom. Each home has a private yard and off-street parking, as well as a detached storage building.
We built the project with affordability as a high priority, but the homes still feature modern, natural finishes and light filled, highly efficient spaces intrinsic to Hone’s portfolio. The vaulted ceiling and loft-style bedroom are a unique offering at this price point and help make the compact homes feel more spacious. Quality, durable materials such as Rough Sawn Fir siding and polished concrete floors also make the project unique in its market.
